Create Year-Round Interest

Want a garden that offers colour and texture in every season? Visit the Garden Centre each month to see which plants are in flower, fruiting, or showing off interesting foliage. Our displays change regularly and are full of seasonal inspiration.

Plan Ahead For Bulbs

Timing is key when it comes to bulbs:

  • Spring-flowering bulbs – such as daffodils, tulips, crocus, iris, snowdrops, and bluebells – are available from August. These need to be planted in autumn to bloom the following spring.

  • Summer-flowering bulbs – including dahlias, begonias, gladioli, and lilies – arrive in January. Plant them in early spring as the soil begins to warm.

Encourage Pollinators And Garden Wildlife

Supporting bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects can improve pollination and create a healthier garden. Here’s how:

  • Choose pollen-rich flowers – many of our plants are clearly labelled as bee- and butterfly-friendly.

  • Sow a wildflower seed mix – we stock several options ideal for beds, borders, or containers.

  • Install an insect box – give pollinators a place to shelter and reproduce.
