5 Year Guarantee:
Please note that our 5-year guarantee only covers furniture for structural damage, rust and fade in the UK. The guarantee applies to all furniture sold by West Somerset Garden Centre; however, it does not include the glass supplied or cushions and parasols.
The specification of furniture is made to withstand the weather conditions in the UK, therefore may not be suitable to foreign climates. Extreme temperatures may cause the rattan to contract and expand, consequently leading to damage or cracking. Should the consumer wish to move furniture outside of the UK, are not liable for any consequent damage, due to foreign weather conditions.
West Somerset Garden Centre reserves the right to not apply the 5 Year Guarantee in cases where we deem inappropriate misuse or in instances where the product or products have been tampered with by a third party. The guarantee will also not apply in instances deemed to be fair wear and tear.
Faulty Goods, we are happy for you to return any faulty product within 12 months of the purchase date, it however must have its original till receipt and we will give a full refund or replacement. If it is a replacement this will come from our existing stock or from our suppliers, whichever is quickest. We are sorry that we are not able to refund or replace if you cannot produce the original proof of purchase.
Right to cancel:
You have the right to cancel your order from the time you place the order until 7 working days after you receive the goods. If you cancel your order in this period, we will issue you a full refund including the cost of delivery, if your items have been delivered within these 7 days, a return must be agreed with a member of staff as the items must still be in ‘new’ condition and un-used.
If you change your mind on something you have purchased from us within 30 days of receipt but outside of the ‘right to cancel’ period (7 working days after you receive the goods) we will issue a refund or credit note, to the value of goods provided that they are complete with original packaging and are still in ‘new’ condition but we will not issue a refund for the cost of delivery or return carriage.

UK Standard Default service will be:
Royal Mail 48hr / 2nd Class is a economical reliable service which we use as the default service for all online sales apart from plants (if listed).
For plants and items requiring a `next day` service: Royal Mail : 24hr / 1st Class is a fast and economical service that usually arrives next day (over 95% delivered on time). It is very similar to 'First Class Post'.
One of the advantages of Royal Mail is that the postman has local knowledge, and will not leave the box at the wrong address. They will often know where items can be left safely.
Courier Delivery: Our Monday-Friday courier service covers the whole of the UK. This is mostly a tracked service depending on the courier used. Courier service providers include ParcelForce, DPD, DHL and Yodel depending on the requirements.
Faulty Goods, we are happy for you to return any faulty product within 12 months of the purchase date, it however must have its original receipt and we will give a full refund or replacement. We are unable to cover the cost of the return, any postage costs for unwanted products will be at a cost to the consumer. If goods are deemed faulty this cost will be repaid in the form of a credit.
